Table Apricot Production and Export
In Mut, which is the center of table and early apricots, we produce 3 kinds of apricots on our 8,000 trees in our 120 decares of orchard within the framework of modern and good agricultural practices. Although all our apricot varieties are early, our harvest starts at the end of April and ends before the end of May. There are 3-5 day differences from year to year due to seasonal conditions.

As the region we are in has a micro-climate, the taste, smell and early ripeness of the Mut apricot give it a special importance.

Our first-season apricot varieties grown in the Mut region are the earliest apricots grown in Turkey and even in the world, among the countries with intense apricot trade. In terms of earliness, we are progressing with Spain with a difference of 3-4 days plus and minus depending on the years.
Bringing its reliable, quality products together with consumers and business partners in Turkey and around the world, Teknamix strives to expand its export network.

With the acquisition of the neighboring land, action was taken to establish cooling warehouses, grading, sorting and packaging facilities in order to ensure that the export-oriented moves proceed in a consistent and correct manner.

Mıkado Productıon with Good Agrıcultural Practıces

Fruit Characteristics: Round shaped, red cheeks on a flat orange background. It does not show cracking sensitivity. It is quite durable, has a balanced taste and is delicious. It shows the characteristics of the first harvested product in our country. It has just entered the Turkish market. Flowering is very early. Flower density and yield are quite good. Its shape is partially flat and round, its hardness is very good. Its color is red on an orange background. Its caliber is AA ( 45-50 mm ), its taste is good and its acid-sugar ratio is balanced. Commercial quality is very good.

Prıcıa Productıon wıth Good Agricultural Practıces

The tree grows half open and moderately. It usually bears fruit on short and medium sized branches. It blooms abundantly in the middle season. The yield of Pricia apricot is very good every year. Its fruits are large ( AA / AAA ) and oval shaped . Especially in areas where the sun’s rays are abundant, 60% of the outer color of the fruit has a red rash. The firmness of the meat is very good. Another positive feature of this kind is the absence of susceptibility problems to PPV. It does not bloom early and is therefore ideal for areas with late frosts. The flesh is orange, with a pleasant smell, juicy, sweet and sour. Its sourness is light and the acidity in the composition is not excessive. The apricot tree of the Pricia variety grows up to 4 meters, with a wide crown. The leaves are dark green with red veins. Commercial quality is excellent. Fruit ripening occurs even in bad and rainy weathers.

Rubısta Production wıth Good Agrıcultural Practıces

The fruit is elliptical on the entire surface, bright dark red, good flavor and aromatic. It is road-resistant and tough. It is medium early. It has just entered into our markets.

It’s an unusual self-pollinated early apricot kind. Its ripening is earlier in the Mut region and takes place in mid-May. Efficiency abounds. Its fruits are commercial quality, dark red, even burgundy. The shape is rounded oval. Its orange red, very beautiful, juicy and has medium density. It tastes very good.

Rubista is not damaged by late frosts by blooming late. Commercial quality is excellent. Its portability is high at harvest time. Frost resistance is up to -30 degrees.
